Fueling up

As you have gathered by my recent post I like to keep active, healthy and busy…  well anything to keep me from getting bored really.this is one of the reason why I like to go to the gym, keep fit and try and get as much excersice as I can.   At the gym I like to mix it up with both cardio and weights, yes weights as I hear a few gasps but I will go into detail about that another day . Anyway because I use the gym reguraly my muscles  get tired and fatigue starts to set in.  I know in the past  after  40 minutes on the cross trainer my calves used to feel a like rock and the next day I would be walking slower than  normal. 

Despite warming up and down, sometimes it did take a while for me to get going. However, not for long

I was introduced to a supplement called ‘Argi’ and since then it has redcued the feleing of tired muscles and kept my enegery levels up, even after the heaviest of workouts (complete conditioning is one). Argi is a sports drink which helps me keep my energy levels up as it contains L-arginine, which also helps reduce my fatigue due to the vitamins b6, b9 and b12.  I was pleasantly surprised after I began drinking it after a few weeks, I didn’t feel the normal tiredness after my workout and in was even able to keep going longer. Now I drink this regularly argi has the added bonus of continuing vitamin d for muscles and c for immune system.  Win win for me !  

I have even introduced it to my boyfriend who works out at home regularly and loves running, he reaaps the benefits especially after his leg muscles can get tired very quickly after a back injury many years ago.

So I am raising my glass (of water ) to Argi, keeps my going after my workout and doesn’t taste to bad either. ☺ 

 

Can’t digest 

Ever since I was born I loved food, I crawled at 3 months for it according to mum. Anyway I have always had a mixed diet, ea ten good with bad and bad with beyond ridculous. As I got older my love was food was getting strained as good wasn’t love returned. Heavy food was giving me indigestion, making me bloat and I was getting frustrated.

So on a quest I was introuced to aloe vera drinking gel which at first I was  a bit apprensive, but thinking about the past years of discomfort I was up for anything to help. After a month of drinking my daily dose I was staring to feel the difference, the bloating reduced and I was able to eat well again. I chose not to eat what upset me and changed my eating habits a little, I was glad I felt the difference and did not want to undo the work the aloe had done for me. 

A year on I still feel that benefits, including my hair, skin and nails feeling healtheir. Plus my energy levels and immune system improved, which comes in handy during the cold winter months. I have also managed to convince other members of my family and friends to drink the aloe as well, so far they are happy with it.  

So here I  show love for the aloe and for many more years to come. 

Lip life saver 

BRRR! It’s cold today in London and we are all feeling it today, I know I am. I’m all for wrapping up in this weather as it gives me a chance to wear all my scarves I knitted myself, plus my hats. However, I know my skin has to be protected against the cold weather, which I do well with my moisturising lotion. Although, it also important that I look after my lips as I know they are more exposed to the weather than anything else. So, I am glad I have this Aloe Lips as it’s a lifesaver for my lips, plus it is multi purpose because you can use it on dry cuiticles which is another reason why it doesn’t leave my handbag.
